The Directorate is responsible for providing security; and ensuring safety and protection of lives & properties within the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex.<\/p>

UNITS UNDER SERJEANT-AT-ARM<\/strong><\/p>

  • Office of the CSO<\/li>
  • Admin\/intelligence<\/li>
  • Mace bearing\/ Surveillance<\/li><\/ul>

    Functions include:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Safety & protection.<\/li>
    • Serjeant-At-Arms Ensures all the visitors are well screened and profiled throughout the day and night,<\/li>
    • 24 hours Surveillance of the complex and its surroundings (physically & electronically).<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      • Ensure 24hours presence of other security apparatus
        24hours intelligence gathering<\/li>
      • Liaise with the Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies daily. <\/li><\/ul>

        The Serjeant-At-Arms ushers in the Presiding Officer (Mr Speaker or Speaker Contempo) as the Mace Bearer at every plenary session.
        Secure the Chambers and ensure decorum at every plenary session
