The Public Affairs Directorate is the image maker of the Institution to the publics and different stakeholders.
The core functions of the Directorate include the following;<\/p>

Coverage of Plenary Sessions (Video Recordings and Photographs)<\/p>

Writing Press Releases on activities of the House and sending same to all media houses, in-house digital media for usage in all House social media platforms (f, Ig, t :@lshaofficial), and Lagos Parliament Magazine unit.<\/p>

Coverage of Public Protests at the Assembly gate.<\/p>

Coverage of all Standing Committee meetings and writing of Press Releases for all media platforms.<\/p>


Daily Monitoring of Newspapers for informations on the Assembly in its entirety and reproduction of it in black and white paper.<\/p>

Coverage of Pens-Down and Last Day in Office Ceremony.<\/p>

Publication of annual Wall and Table Calendars.<\/p>

Publication of Adverts in selected Newspapers.<\/p>

Publication of programmes and Invitation cards for Stakeholders forum and other House events.<\/p>

Anchoring of in-house events and programmes.<\/p>

Any other duties as assigned by the Management and the Leadership of the House.<\/p>


The Directorate has two Units :
The News unit and The Production unit.<\/p>
